Schedule or not, my point is with our talent alone we should have at least made a better fight against Auburn. Had LSU showed up to play at the start we probably win that game. I'm sorry but that is totally on the coaches for having the team ill prepared. It's not like it was a one time thing where LSU didn't show up to play. LSU was a not show to start 4/6 games. I get that you want to defend a coach against over zealous criticism. However, this is legit criticism on Miles and staff. LSU needs to find that confidence and swag again. LSU is going into hostile territory today, against a good D. I could accept a loss if the play calling changes and LSU comes to play. If I know every play that is coming and the team comes out flat, I can't accept that. I get Harris played like a true FR against Auburn but I totally disagree with opening up the competition again.
This is not a year in which LSU is going to beat a lot of top-10 teams. Few teams do, but in the SEC West you must play two to four of them every year.
That was Xavier Carter's dumb ass. He didn't kneel on the five; we got the ball on the half-yard line. But, you know, we had superior coaching back then, so it had to all be on the player. Had that been a Miles player, it would certainly have been his fault.
I don't think LSU has lost 2 in a row since 2008. I can't remember the last time LSU and Bama lost on the same weekend other than last weekend, but in both teams last 7 games, LSU is 5-2 Bama is 4-3 losing 2 in a row against Auburn and OU, in the 2013 season. LSU could lose 2 in a row easily this year this weekend, but I'm interested in this Alabama Arkansas game, let's see how they do.
I'm pretty sure Early Doucet did that on the opening kickoff of the 2nd half against Florida in 2006 also.
