Miles really is getting a LOT of good motivational, locker room material this week. I watched the "experts" last night and was really getting pissed but then remembered the value all this pro-Saban, pro-Bama talk has for our "crazy" coach and his "damn stronger" football team. :geaux:
The so-called "experts" (yes, I am referring to ESPN primarily) are all about controversy, soundbites, and as many others have already noted, ratings. They are not about any meaningful or intelligent discussion. I said earlier that ESPN can go pound sand. The more I think about it, they just have to be taken with a grain of salt. Knowledgeable fans such as most of us on this board have to consider the source and not let our emotions factor in (easier said than done, for sure). :geauxtige
Sounds to me like the 5 minute story ESPN aired prior to the LSU-OU Sugar Bowl BCSNCG about the advantage OU got from their punt returner. He was #2 in the nation on punt return average and they harped on how he would really help the Sooners dominate the field position battle. At the end of the piece, they quickly mentioned the #1 returner that year: Skyler Green. Hope this one ends up the same. GEAUX TIGERS
seriously, this bugs yall? reasonable arguments can be made for all of those answers. we'll find out sat.
Closing out opponent- Push Better Coaching Staff- Push Better Defense- Push Best player on field- Trent Richardson? Sure we can give it to him. To bad this a team sport however. I watched the CBS sports predictions and they were 2 for LSU and 2 for Bama.
