S**T I should get penalized for all the running around the living room and chest pounding and f u Georgias I shouted after Scott broke that TD. I guess a good penalty for a fan would be not getting to watch the Florida game next week. I mean come on this is still a game and they are still kids (young adults for those who are offended), both Green and Scott celebrated what they felt were game winning tds with their teammates did not even look at thier opponents and did not show up anybody. Hell when did pointing up at god become a bad thing, shame Scott shame. Starting next year when a guy scores he will be required to go up to the opposing coach and appologize for making his team look bad on tv and then everybody can hold hands and sing koom by ya
I think with the outcry from announcers and everyone, the league will have to re-address this at the end of the season.
we just noticed because it was such a big game. been happening for years. and its more painful each time they freaking do it.
Many, not all. There are lots of players and coaches that feel differently about their spirituality and feel it's a more deeply personal thing that they needn't make an ostentatious show of in front of TV cameras to prove to others how pious they are. Does CLM do the whole prayer at the 50 yard line thing? I've never noticed it if he does.
I guess now I understand what girls go through. It doesn't matter what I say all anybody ever notices are the ta ta's.
I don't think so. Sportsmanship was made a "point of emphasis" this season in the NCAA this year even before that. He just became the poster child for it because he made such an ass of himself. There's several "sportsmanship" promos during each game in just about every conference that I've seen so far. It's a product of this generation, it was rare years ago. Can you see Tittle, Cannon, or Stovall getting flagged for this? I can't.
