Personally I think if this is gonna become the new trend with refs and the NCAA then I agree with tirk and they should make the penalties WELL WORTH IT!

Thanking God is for church on Sunday or however you see fit to worship. The gridiron is for football. Prayer has no place in football. If God cares about the outcome of a football game, please explain the Saints existence for the past 42 years?

Besides, doesn't it just cancel out your prayer if the opposing players also make their sanctimonious show of their "thankfulness" to God after they make a big play?
