I choose to see reality and I respond in kind. Throw lipstick on a pig if you like, but it's still a pig. If you want me to try being more positive, perhaps you should try being smarter?
No you don't. All one has to do is to read our discussions about throwing away your vote for a third party candidate. I WILL NOT re-debate this with you here and now. There is another thread with the information.
This needs a bump because there are still some that think rich people are EVIL and they don't deserve a tax cut like everybody else. Discrimination at it's best.
well you probably should if you knew what was good for you. but that is kind of hypocritical coming from me.
Nah...I didn't name any names and I got accused of that in my are atheist too touchy thread. Now, on the OP…I think that there should be a flat tax on income much like there is for land. When it comes to property, you pay a percentage of the market value of the property. No matter if you have a $100,000 home or a $500,000 home. Now there are exemptions that even the playing field a little, but I think it is much more fair then having different percentages for different people. Why should I pay a higher percentage of my income just because I make more?
the cost of being rich in america, trust me it's a lot less painful than the cost of being poor in this country.
No, but you should be entitled to keep the pizza you bought and paid for, without fear of the government screaming "unfair!" and taking a disproportionate number of slices away from you. Problem is, our government tends to get a serious case of the munchies (almost as if they've been smoking weed -- see, I'm trying to relate to you), and wants more and more of OUR PIZZA!
