    Sounds good to me!

For the record not related to your post but it just hit me that I wanted to remind everyone that I think everyone should have to pay their fair share for taxes and services.
I have said that numerous times in this thread, that means those involved in corporations as well as the little man.

I also would like to point out that if corporations can't make contributions that should apply to unions.
The Liberals have endless supply of funds, Conservatives are at a total disadvantage here from what I can tell?
We HAVE to get the lobbyists out of the picture for both sides!
    This is crippling the country!

Actually, in the political arena unions are indistinguishable from corporations. The UAW lobbied for SUV exemptions from emissions laws and of course after the GM “FIX” they are one of the largest corporations in the world. It will be interesting to see how that evolves.

As I said, it's a new transaction - thus "new" money. You're correct, the percentage is what matters.

Why blame the dems for this again...?

You don't understand Warren Buffett. If we were talking about Joe Schmuck I'd agree with you. Buffett wants the rules changed not so that no one can join him, but so others have a chance to join him.

He's not complaining about his taxes; He's complaining about his secratary's taxes. How can you possibly not understand that?

    Why not?
You blame Republicans worse and I blame Dems worse.
The Dems act like they are for the little guy and not the CEO's and supposedly the Republicans are the other way around.
The Dems are the party of regulations and reform so yes, it is their fault that they haven't fixed this problem.
If Indiana Tiger doesn't like the way things are he needs to blame his own party for those reasons instead of everyone else.
I have a question, Is everyone who owns shares in corporations rich?
No I didn't understand but is anyone here going to honestly tell me that Warren Buffet's secretary pays more $$$$ than he does?
You expect me to believe that?
I still say Buffet is deceiving and anyone who makes his case for him.
    It is BS.

Ok so I know some in this thread don't like corporations.
They want corporations to pay more and don't really care if half of the population don't owe or pay any taxes at all.
Again, if you live in this country everyone should pay for services with very few exceptions.
Everyone should contribute to society if able bodied.
I am for a fairer tax system period.

she pays a higher % not more $$$. it is precisely because buffet makes relatively little income, most of his $$$ is cap gains which is taxed at 15% (but thankfully up to a reasonable 20% soon)

I understand that that is why I phrased the question like I did.
The world aint perfect no matter how you look at things.
Again, I have been consistent, everyone should owe taxes who lives in this country.
I want a more fair system.

My last statement was that I want a more fair tax system.
    Agreed!
Define more, Does Warren Buffet pay more tax dollars than his secretary?
Does his secretary pay at a higher rate and if she does someone please tell me why is that?
Lets get it all out in the open and stop playing games.
