The game especially at Tampa next week is huge if they lose.

That means the Saints would own the tiebreaker with them if we beat Atlanta and Tampa to end the season. No if ands or buts about it.

Which means we can lose one of the next 3 (Baltimore being our biggest test) and still hold destiny in our hands going into those last 2 games.

But the ultimate scenario is Tampa losing at Baltimore today as well as Green Bay going into Atlanta and winning (there is a good shot both of these things happen today). That would allow the Saints to lose 2 of it's next 3 games and still control it's own destiny.

So obviously today's games are big big big.

Go Ravens and especially the Packers.

They're a good team but have also been VERY lucky this year. Let's hope their luck runs out today.

    17-17
    :49 remaining in the 4th

Well...they just got a 15-yard facemask panalty to help them out. They start at the Packers 49.

    The luck never ends!

A turnover, penalty, or blocked kick would be nice.

Atlanta is not a dominant team and will cry that much harder when they're eliminated from the playoffs.

You're right, they're not dominant, but they always seem to find ways to win. I hate them and it's really frustrating to watch because all they do is run Turner and dink and dunk with short passes. And, you'd think by now someone would devise a defense for guarding Tony Gonzales.

I've circled the Tampa game since about 5 or 6 weeks ago.

    This is the big one.

If Atlanta loses, the Saints could still lose one of their next 3 games and still control their own destiny.

TB got blown out in ATL, but everyone except us loses there. Tampa is much improved, but I don't see them winning this one, even though they have the home field.

Atlanta Falcons are built for success. They are a Dome team built for the great outdoors. Even in December in someone else back yard, I look for staying power. A great power running game, timely passing from a QB coming into his own and a stingy defense with a top notch field goal kicker. What's not to like?

ATL was up 27-21 with 2 minutes to go. TB had the ball 1st and goal, ran 4 times, and didn't score. Turner got a 1st down and ATL ran out the clock.

TB should've won that game, but ATL's golden horseshoe prevailed again.

Now ATL is a totally different team on the road. And TB is still looking for that signature win so TB will pull out all the stops.

ATL could easily lose this game.

They are a hated division rival of the Saints.
