Imagine his invite to a summer workout when les is telling the future biletnikoff winners dad we figure he'll play CB. They said jamarrs dad and jamarr himself was none too happy.

Fournette broke the single season rushing record held by Charles Alexander for almost 40 years, by nearly 300 yards. That's wasting him?

LSU Single Season Rushing Records: (2 LSU players have reached the 1,500 yard per season plateau)

    1. 2015 Leonard Fournette - 1,953 rushing yards, 22 TDs, caught 18 passes for 209 yards & another TD. Led the SEC in rushing yardage per carry. Consensus 1st team All-American. Picked 4th overall in the NFL Draft, 1st taken.

    2. 1977 Charles Alexander - 1,686 yards, 17 TDs, caught 8 passes for 80 yards, no TDs. Consensus 1st team All-American. Picked 12th in NFL Draft, 3rd RB taken.

@unclenick Wasted as in taking a super talented back and running him into a wall with an unimaginative offense that had no hope of scoring. LF7 gained his yards against inconsequential teams and was ineffective against Alabama and others in the games that mattered. The yards gained speak to personal greatness.....what he did in losses and critical games speak to whether he was wasted or not.

Those are some great stories you posted about Ja'marr Chase. Les Miles did recruit him as a 10th grader in 2016, when his recruiting was beginning. He offered him both positions, WR & DB back when Ja'marr was 180 lbs & 6'. He had some maturity issues back then, not uncommon with 10th graders. He committed to 2 other schools ( Kansas & Florida) in 2017 while Orgeron was head coach at LSU. Chase finally "stayed home" & signed with LSU in 2018.

Are you really saying LF7 sucked? Alabama was his only bad game. I guess the rest of the SEC was "inconsequential"? 228 yards against Auburn, 193 yards against Florida, 164 yards against A&M. That's a "Hot Take" you got right there. Fooled the NFL too?

Why do you keep calling me taint? I work in the LSU Athletic Department - since 2002. Do you?

From what I understand & have read, tiger tap works as an attorney, prosecutor I think, at the State Capital.

I came to this board to talk about sports, mainly football, yet you keep leaving these turd droplets, "thanks taint" & "oh, taint just can't let go", under my posts. As far as I know he hasnt posted here in months. So what's your deal?

ETA : Yes I like Les Miles, I like Dave Aranda too. Why dont you? Miles brought us to 2 Championships & Aranda was the highest paid coordinator in cfb for a reason. I don't feel the need to shit all over former very successful LSU coaches. Hell, I watched Nebraska when Bo P. went there. If that makes me a "taint", then so be it.

What jig? You take up dancing? Or do you just really like STYX songs?

"The jig is up, the news is out
    They've finally found me
The renegade who had it made
    Retrieved for a bounty

    Never more to go astray
This will be the end today
    Of the wanted man"
