Worst pot of the year. I kid I kid. Well said @CalcoTiger I think Alabama was a backup qb away on depth too. It's a different playoff with Bama in there instead of Oklahoma. 2011 and that other year they backed in finally evened out I guess.

Mark Packer did some research on his XM radio show Monday for those people saying lsu is just a one and done. In the last 4 seasons, comparing teams with top AP top 25 wins. LSU had 20, and was second behind OSU and Bama by only two. In the same 4 years, LSU was #1 with AP top 5 wins, with 12. LSU isn't going away and may be closer to elite status than people think.
I don't know about anyone else but Les left some scars that lingered for years. I don't think I watched a whole LSU vs Alabama game and vice versa for years, some years I didn't watch it at all. I don't watch Alabama when they play football either. I believe the last time I watched LSU play Alabama was Leonard Fornette's year when he was running all over everyone including Auburn. I can't remember if that was his freshman or sophomore year. At any rate as we know we couldn't run at all, the rest was history.
