I still have a difficult time believing what the Tigers did with Burrow at QB. They just totally ripped thru a very difficult schedule. Sometimes I think I dreamed it.

Whenever they had NCAA football on Xbox, this was the kind of season I would have when I played a season with LSU.

Seems like I won the Heisman every year. Could do no wrong, never got tackled, WR never dropped my 60 yard bombs. Glad to see real game has caught up.

After the Les Miles years we were do pay back. Those were some fun years but those were also some frustrating years.

    This is a great point.

We weren't going to be held down forever.

This year was the perfect storm for LSU.

Bama had their struggles and lacked the depth they had as a team in a while. We were able to be tough in the real tough games and offense was able to make up for poor defense in a few games against lesser opponents.

Defense stepped up at end of season and became a strong unit.
Years like this don't come along often and our struggles of the recent past made our fan base appreciate our team again and went all in.

It feels good because we were a fractured fanbase for the past 8 years and this kind of season just makes me appreciate the love of LSU football and understand that win or lose im with them and thank them for the perfect storm.

Ill be rooting for them win or lose next year and every year God blesses me to be on this earth.

Thank You Tigers for giving us this redemption.
