The article has been edited from when I read it last night because right after the "New Sheriff " part he said "forget that, give me back my bama jacket" or something like that
I've always appreciated that approach, but truth is, none of them had been there before. That said, the players that worked so hard to win the championship have not looked nearly as good since they got the trophy in their hands.
None of that matters. If Coach O was leaving then fine I'll let you make the argument all day long. Orgeron's new mantra: we ain't going nowhere.
All that bullshit is about OBJ, who they should have known was going to be a problem and he should have never been given field access. Orgeron learned a valuable lesson and that won't happen again I can guarantee you that.
Bill Hancock, head of the CFP, already issued a statement about reviewing policy regarding the allowing of guests with team access on the field during the games and in the locker room. So that's the end of that.
The talent is still there in offense. Chase, Marshall, Boutte, Gilbert, Palmer, TDP, Curry, Brennan. Emery if he ever learns the playbook. There is a lot of talent to work with. It’s just a matter of coaching these young guys up to have confidence and get experience.
Correct all the play makers on offense are there. I'll put them up against any other SEC team. We are #1 in that department and I don't think it's close. The question is the offensive line. Will they gel? On the defensive side, LSU will undoubtedly still have the best secondary in the SEC. The defensive line with all 3 Juniors coming back will now be a strength of this team. The only question on defense are the LBs. That's not a bad prognosis overall headed into 2020. Ensminger is still here, he knows the spread offense now. That won't change. We just need to hit a home run on the DC pick. Do that and we are in contention for the SEC next season.
