    So I think tomorrow is the last day to declare, and Chaisson has been silent. I thought he was a definite goner. Did I miss something or is he waiting for the last minute.

    Yes I have employed a few guys that were trying out for the Saints over the years, just hoping to make the practice squad. This was many many years ago, one guy finally made a team but it wasn't the Saints. I was very happy for him.

    I've never heard of that being a reason for somebody to stay.

    You're just hoping against all hope.

    I hope he stays because I think he can have a brilliant senior season and raise his stock that much higher.
