wow. i didn't realize it would be ALL of them tho i knew it would be the majority. i was hoping that with the right rehabilitation and the right home environments (no kids or other dogs) that some of the ones who hadn't actually been in a fight yet could be saved. but come to think of it, how would you know which ones those are? the more i think of it, the more i agree. it is heartbreaking to me, but better than the cruel barbaric circumstances and death they would have received. :bncry:
I think I have a new favorite quote in the Vick saga. It's from the woman that paid $10K for his apology press conference notes. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/09/14/vick.auction.ap/index.html Wow. Seriously? I love dogs like few others. However, I'm not sure they were watching the press conference. And would they have allowed the dogs a separate press conference to either accept or reject his apology? Would they have to vote on it as a group, or have they already appointed a spokesdog? So many questions...
i saw the dog's response press conference. with regard to vick's apology, one dog chewed on a squeaky rubber bone, another slept, and a third played with a shoe it found.
