The cubs have two days to work out a trade to get Shannon Stewart from Oakland in an attempt to fill Soriano's hole. I hope Soriano comes back soon because I have become a Cub fan since they installed the LSU duo in the middle infield and it would be so awesome if they could win the CWS and the World Series.

So what you're telling me is that Shannon Stewart is gonna fill Soriano's hole.

    Egad!

I'm pretty sure thats not what i said, Stewart is an upgrade over either Jaque Jones or Cliff Floyd playing everday in his spot. Stewart is a five tool player and it'll help fill the void left by Soriano but I would never say it would completely fill his role.

Go look at their outfield choices and tell me which one you would rather play than Shannon Stewart.

The key question with Shannon Stewart, like any addition to the Cubs, is whether he has a fully developed loser gene. If he does, he should do very well. If he doesn't, then that will be the first order of priority for Cubdom. I don't know the ins and outs of how they do it, but they can really instill a sense of a losing like few other franchises in all of sports.
