I think they were scared that Jefferson was Lee and would lose the game for them.

Let the kid play. Sure he made some bad passes but this is not Lee the kid is much more talented than that. I believe they were gun shy about letting him play his game.

Besides, we have talked about this enough. Bye, Bye BOTH Coordinators. If they both aren't let go then Miles needs to take the heat. End of story.

There is no problem with Crowton, what is he suppose to do?
He has been so limited of what he can do with the qbs, Lee incosistant and JJ probably somewhat limited to playbook with less experience.

I think people are overlooking just how badly our offensive and defensive lines have played this year, inconsistant is the best way to describe this years team form qb to dropped passes, not able to run the ball.
Our offensive and defensive lines were suppose to be the strong points of our team.

Look at the bright side here, plenty of room for improvement for next year.

The staff did get too conservative - that next to last LSU possession we were 3rd and five with the game on the line - we get a first down, the game is over. Too conservative on the play call, and we ended up punting.

Not playing to win...playing "not to lose" - but we managed to let it slip away. Really sad. :geaux:

PM, I have to believe they were freaked out about another QB losing the game. They tried to sit on the ball. I guess you could understand why but hell you are 7-4 what do you have to lose?

Also the third and one before half where we went for it all then punted. Run it twice, they hadn't stopped us.
