Tigers are #1 until someone takes it from them...and I'm kinda disappointed that I'm the only one so far that thinks so.

I'd put LSU at #1 also. I think starting where you left off is a good way to go considering everything else is a wild ass guess. I'm also for playoffs, though.
A couple of those polls that John posted flat-out pi$$ me off. I cannot fathom us being ranked below the likes of TT and Clemson! Puh-leez, people. And there was a poll with Missouri ahead of OU, who beat them twice last year. I'm a believer in Chase Daniel, but what else did Missouri lose in the way of graduation that may make them a much different team this year? Hmmm? And my poll, right now, would have UGA @ the top (because I want LSU to be the ones to knock them off), and I have a hard time ranking anyone else ahead of us, because all of the top teams have major question marks this year. LSU--big time questions @ QB and CB OSU--can get to the big game, but gets slapped around once there OU--plays in the Big 12 and tends to look good there; can Stoops coach them to a bowl win ever again? They are starting to look like ND. Florida--Tebow is back, but that defense is still suspect, at best. Lots of injuries in camp USC--injuries/inexperience @ QB, just like LSU (except they get the benefit of higher ranking)
I don't want to be ranked #1 until the day after the BCSCG. Last year every time we gained the #1 ranking we would subsequently lose a game.
