so ESPN (while they may just be presenting click bait and or stuff so people will listen/talk about) is really kind of riding this whole Saban could bolt for the NFL thing. Personally I don't see why he would, but think about this for a second, if that Cincinnati job came available, that's not like taking over the Dolphins, that's a ready made playoff team. Again I don't think he would leave, but I hope he does. Geaux Clemson
That's like not watching the Superbowl. I hate Bama. I don't hate Clemson but I don't have any liking for them either... ROLL SEC ROLL
In my humble opinion, I think Clemson has a chance in this one. Gumps historically have had troubles with mobile QB’s and fast tempo offenses. However, something can be said for the gumps record against teams called Tigers with home fields called Death Valley. So there’s that.
Kirk Herbstreit said this morning that the Bama team was more focused than he had ever seen them. The only way Clemson wins is if the Tide doesn't bring their A game.
They definitely have a shot. It's WHY I can't wait to watch. They will be focused. It's why I keep telling myself it's no use to get my hopes up about them losing. I told someone at work today that it's a shame I'm pulling against an SEC team out of pure jealousy.
I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Bama is more focused. Clemson has seemed to be relishing too much in the "making it there" part, and they have had sig. less practice time than Bama. From a talent and matchup standpoint, I think Clemson had a shot, but I don't think their preparation will be as good as Bama. Oh, and there that experience level thing, too. Pulling for Clemson to win, expecting Bama to win.
