I went over to the Michigan forum to see what they were saying about the "Hawkeye" game tomorrow. Sadly, they were so tired of talking up how bad they were going to beat our poor, less-than, miserable team this year... that they are putting up post after post on the score of the LSU/Bama game. From the posts, it appears the Michigan Man money is on your Tigers. So is mine.
Ive never been this amped for a LSU game outside of the national championship games. Its gonna be a good ole fashioned SEC grinder. Both teams will bring it. I cant wait!
That's a perfectly healthy die-hard fan reaction:thumb: Just need to start drinking early to chill out:wave:
The intangible factor that amps me up for this game like no other is anticipating how the turncoat dwarf coaching the Gumps will feel having to shake CLM's hand after we win the game on his home field. I actually prefer us being a slight underdog. Remember that "the experts" favored Oregon this year too. I didn't mind the bye week but this week has been excruciatingly slow moving. The other thing that is tough on me is being on Eastern time the game won't be over until midnight. I will need a chill pill to go to sleep after this is over. At least it will be with a smile on my face. GEAUX TIGERS!! :LSU231: :crystal:
After Coach Nick Saban dies and enters the Pearly Gates, God takes him on a tour. He shows him a little two-bedroom house with a faded Alabama banner hanging from the front porch. "This is your house, coach," God says happily. "Most people don't get their own houses up here." Nick looks at the house and is pleased, then turns around and looks at one sitting on top of a hill. It's a huge, beautiful two-story mansion with white marble columns and little patios under all the windows. LSU flags line both sides of the sidewalk and a huge LSU banner hangs between the marble columns. "Thanks for the house, God," Nick says. "But let me ask you a question. I get this little two-bedroom house with a faded banner and Coach Miles gets a mansion with LSU banners and LSU flags flying all over the place. Why is that?" God looks at him seriously for a moment, then says, "Nick, that's not Miles's house. That's Mine."
Not until Les' contract comes up. A call from Michigan is worth a cool million every time it happens.
