oh man, that reminds me, i remember i went to the 2000 baseball banquet after they won the title and i got autographs from all the starters on the team on a ball from Omaha. it was raining afterwards and ALL of the autographs came off except for Skip's because he used his own pen. i was bummed out.
Sam Montgomery is still one of my favorites when it comes to just being a cool guy. He held us at the line to talk about the stuff we had for him to sign. He was just a super nice guy. Very personable. One of my friends grew up with Ridley, so when we got over there, he held us up to talk to us for a little bit. Ridley is a freakin trip. You just don't realize how personal and fun these guys are just by watching em on Saturdays running up and down the field. I kinda wish there were more meet and greets like fan day to get to know these guys. And JayB is right. CLM runs a classy program. Guy doesn't want trash on his field and I don't blame him.
Nice job. :thumb:We should recognize the staff for bringing in quality young players, and the players for maintaining their high standards. It is tough on both sides.
my brother asked Montgomery how many sacks he was going to get this year and he said "i'd like to get 8". I waited a while and asked "8 a game, right?" He looked up and said "If I do that, i'll win the heisman."
Havent seen an update in a while but Georgia and Tenn were firmly in the top 10. I think Georgia may have got some extra points for their AD being caught drunk driving with a young skank in the car. Extra points for coaches and administrators ya know. :hihi:
definitely. actually, i did have johnnie and wally's sigs too. along with my favorite player ever: ryan "the riot" theriot. :bncry:
The big board entered the lighting round early this week. looks like UGA to win the tiebreaker thanks to the AD
