Speaking of Bama, anybody want to give an over/under on whether this guy will see a suspension for this?
I posted a thread on this in the College Forum. The guy better see a suspension. I'm a bit surprised that Nicky didn't pull this guy's arse off the field right after it happened. They're not coaching this at Bama, are they?
Bottom line, Loston needs to quit leading with his helmet. He does it on nearly every single tackle, and has done so since he's been at LSU. And BTW, I said it was a shitty call. But that's what happens when you develop the reputation.
Talking about ESPN counterparts.....I have to tell you guys something about Lou Holtz!! A buddy of mine brought this up the other day.....he told me ...."you ever really stop and listen to lou holtz talk?? close your eyes next time he's talking and you could sware it is Daffy Duck!!" lol I did that Saturday....and I laughed my ass off all day!! Try it when you need a good laugh!!
I didn't watch The Bama/Mizzou game, but I did see the highlight of Lacy's TD run and right in the middle of the TV screen was a blatant block in the back that didn't get called! Wasn't it last year or the year before that Alabama went an entire season without being flagged for offensive holding, a penalty that can be called on just about every down. There's a name for this disease that seems to only affect SEC refs during Alabama games, it's called "Bama Blindness."
