Only difference is JJ is peaking now as well, last two games from him have impressed me and I love JL but Kragthorpe has to be recognized for what he has done for both of them. Les always seems to turn coordinator changes into an opportunity to get MUCH better love having the Hat as our coach! :geauxtige

    It wasn't adversity, amigo.

The hurricane year of 2005 was adversity. Three moved games, campus turned into and evacuation center, players homes lost. Les took the team to the SECCG, depite it all, the first rookie SEC coach to do so. He took the 9-3 team that Nick left him and finished 11-2 with it. THAT was overcoming adversity.

This team is different. This team absolutely refuses to be distracted. Multiple starters suspended, last-minute coaching changes, rugged road schedule, high media visibility, trap games, Top-3 opponents, intense SEC road venues, quarterback controversies, BCS controversies, . . . pick a serious distraction.

It hasn't fazed this team. Yes, this team is talented. Yes, it is fast. Yes, it is superbly coached. Yes, it is road-tested, confident, cocky, and hostile. But what makes this team special is its focus, mental agility, and resolve.

This team is smart, strong, quick, experienced, and ruthlessly determined. I've never been as confident in a Tiger team in the four decades I have been watching them.

I'm not a rah-rah fan or an idle boaster, but I believe it when I say . . . Georgia doesn't have a chance and Bama is going to have their hands completely full with LSU.

Put the new and confident passing QB Jordan Jefferson in the Bama game back in November. Add in Hilliard to replace Ware (who had an awful game and was no match for the interior defense of Alabama's).

Add in a Ron Brooks who has turned into honey badger #2.

That game does not end up 9-6 in overtime.

If we do indeed have a rematch, LSU will win by a minimum of 2 scores.

I agree with red. I've never been this impressed by an LSU team in all my years following the Tigers. This team has something special besides just speed and talent. That IT factor, and lots of it. Best LSU team Ive ever seen and it's not even close.
