I still don't get what the fuss is about. Does ESPN have nothing else to talk about?

Schlereth just went off on Philbin. Said he was either allowing it to happen or incompetent.

Said he doesn't think the Dolphins will look the same at the head coach or GM positions next season.

I think that may have as much to do with the Dolphins going 6-10, however.

Who's defending him? The only ones I know of are those closest to the situation - his teammates.

But wouldn't those be the most meaningful people to defend him?

Exactly. If Incognito was a racist piece of shit, like everyone is portraying him, then his teammates wouldn't not have his back.

I still think he is going to murder someone, however.

I was referring mostly to people on forums such as this. When Incognito was first implicated, he was criticized. In the past couple of days, it's been a complete 180. I've seen more people defending him than criticizing him. When you consider his incidents at Nebraska, Oregon, the Rams, and now this; I just don't understand defending him based on a couple of teammates that sound very unintelligent in the way they explain why he's a good guy.

Yep everyone on every network with the racist bs. Now we find out he was closest to the weirdo. And that voicemail and text is how I talk to friends I'm close with to an extent. I'd have left something similar but I'm an asshole and racist to an extent as well.

Now 1 day later Chris carter and ESPN are acting like they never indicted him less than 24 hrs prior. Fn hypocrites. Almost everyone of them.

Because those in the foxhole know him best. Not a gd reporter. Or even a coach for that matter.
