i agree with this and i think biden is stupid, but there is nothing he can do. afghans dont want freedom. they are not americans. not everyone on earth wants freedom.
i dont think biden really mismanaged this. this was inevitable. i suspect the people that overwhelmed the airport are economic migrants, just normal poor people who want to go to a rich country. we set the afghans up for their own defense, but they said they want the taliban to take over, so they did. nothing we can do. the people of afghanistan do nto care about it, and there is nothing we can do about that. we gave them everything they needed, but they dont want it. so be it, fuck em.
who cares what they want. All we had was 2500 for intelligence and air support. And a place on the other side of the world to keep the jihad crazies focused and thinned out.
i agree it required fairly small investment to keep control. and we have far more dudes in rando places around the world. but its not our job. we cant be there forever. maybe we could, if they would work with us, like the japanese and koreans, where we have forces as well. but they dont care. i say fuck em. we can keep blowing up al queda camps from qatar or wherever. let them lose their womens rights and shit. if they want to, they can organize a new country and have western rights there. maybe divide the country in half like sudan

its definitely possible al-jawarni or warjarni ashraf gani, or whatever the fuck that afghan presidents name was, he might have been working with the taliban the whole time. telling the US they need weapons, knowing he was just gonna donate them to the taliban
