I disagree with him. We watched for months while Putin prepared for invasion and massed troops along the border. We heard Putin's sabre rattling before Ukraine was invaded by Russia. People had plenty of opportunity to pick sides. Also, scrawny betas get captured. Scrawny betas were sitting at home minding their own scrawny business when the govt comes in and forced conscription to go fight in war with scrawny old weapons in their hands. It is almost like it is the Russian people who were not allowed to choose to support this war.
