How could Thibault have "shielded" Hunter Biden from criminal investigation when the contents of Hunter's laptop had already passed and been modified by trump's campaign? If anything criminal had been found there was no way of "shielding" it from the public, and if anything criminal had been found there was no way of trusting the information contained thereupon, anyway.
