I'm not spending much time on anything here but seems the first 2 links show the ideal, not actual. the 3rd link starts off with something about the "left leaning" and Is associated with Charles Koch. hard to believe this as unbiased. On the other hand, we have the orange god who professes to what he, as a self absorbed rich person, actually pays. this is one of the few times in the last 5-6 years that I believe what came out of his mouth to be truth.

I am sorry you do not know how the tax system works.

You can do exactly what Trump and other people do.

What they do is invest most of their wealth and the borrow against it reducing their tax burden.

You might think this is dumb, but without all that wealth "invested", nothing would get done. Unless you would rather the government run the economy like Russia or something.

So your man is out for the greater good. I suppose he dislikes Putin and everything he stands for too?

It seems you do not understand the incentive structure of capitalism either.

trump's CFO just plead guilty to fifteen counts of Grand Larceny, involving a scheme to avoid paying taxes. The entire trump organization will shortly go on trial for the same crimes. trump's signature was on all the checks, and as Michael Cohen has verified nothing went on financially within the trump corporation without trump's direction and approval. These tax avoidance schemes are not available to the average joe... they require collusion and the obfuscation provided by corporate structure complexities. And some jackasses here defend trump as "smart" for not paying taxes when the truth is that he's far more criminal than smart.

This is one of the perks of being rich. They can afford attorneys and accountants that find them some relief. Yet they STILL paid more than the bottom 90% combined.

You being angry about it doesn't make it any less true. Now stop gnashing your teeth and clawing at your face, its not good for you.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. I spoke out against Trump and Obama when they used executive orders that exceeded the actual power. I’ve also called out republicans for hypocrisy.
Well it’s not a different standard for the senile liar currently in the White House. Not only is this executive order blatantly unconstitutional and illegal but Biden et al are hypocritical. Below are two examples of their hypocrisy.
“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not. He can postpone, he can delay, but he does not have that power.” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (who argued that loan forgiveness would require an act of Congress), July 2021

“I don’t think I have the authority to do it by signing the pen,” – President Joe Biden February 16, 2021

gotta pay off these loans or else we cant afford for universities to have highly paid diversity officers in every department wasting time and pushing for incompetent diversity hires. michigan for example has 76 employees working in diversity equity and inclusion. that blows up tuition.

if these colleges dont have at least a few million dollars worth of hightly paid woke clowns not teaching anything, but instead calling everyone racist then rex will call them white supremacists

I don't think Biden has the constitutional authority to do this, either... but he's certainly not "senile". And it's far, far, far from the most important things we should be concerned about. And it's hypocritical for wall fans to be suddenly screaming about legitimate presidential authority.

It's clear, though, why republicans are apopletic about this. "I love the poorly educated." They are the anti-education party. In a Pew poll not so long ago nearly 60% of republicans said that universities are bad for this country.
