The problem with everything you have said is that you think Pence not certifying means anything. Your premise is that after that there is no other procedures. Oddly, the one link you provided concluded that if they "got to Pence", and he "didn't certify" based on objections it would then defer back to a VOTE in congress on said objections. At this point, I am not sure where that leaves your theory. And lastly, to suggest our country was in the hands of a VP and a simple Viking getting to "Pence" could have caused disaster is beyond retarded and you should feel bad for even thinking we were near some mythical edge of disaster.
