I've seen a young team making progress. We have 2 weeks to heal up, and gameplan. You may say that we had over a month to gameplan for the January game, but I'm sure Les and company felt we would be able to win doing what we did in Tuscaloosa. This is a new offense, and I've seen 8 take baby steps, and I've seen a coaching staff put together offensive gameplans that would have worked great if our players would have made plays. People were saying the same thing about McCarron last year, he can't win you a game, and he proved everyone wrong, why can't Zach?

I definitely believe we can win a close defensive struggle, like in T-town last year, but I am skeptical about the offense just magically pulling it together against the best team we will have faced so far, when they haven't been able to do it against lesser teams up to now. Like others have mentioned, the one advantage that we have is the bye week. Hopefully, we'll use it to practice some of the plays in Miles' phantom book of plays that no one has seen yet.

 

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I get the feeling that the coaching staff has definitely held a few things back, not wanting bama above all to have film on it and scout it. I have this sneaky feeling that "the hat" has some tricks up his hat.

I really can't say that THIS game is the make or break for the season, but from here on out, EVERY game is make or break for the season. There's definitely a very small margin for error in this game, these me better have their heads on straight.

With the way this offense has played the first half of the season, I think I'm safe to say that a 10-12 win season is not a big stretch.

 

Why do I get the feeling that even if LSU wins, you will still be in here bitching and moaning...wanting us to rise up and demand more.

You seem like the epitome of a bad fan, never satisfied and always negative.

Winning the National Championship in 2007 and "not very impressive" would never be said in the same sentance by a true LSU fan. (Do you even remember those triple overtime losses? I guess LSU was not impressive enough to you in the NC game either?
