You don't think getting dissed on the #1 seed is motivation for LSU? You don't think an opportunity to redeem themselves after last year is motivating for LSU? Have you no faith at all?
I 'don't see the loss to Florida as a motivating factor. It was a game they really didn't have to win for a national seed and the nature of baseball is that you aren't going to win every game. Getting to the CWS and playing for a NC should be motivator enough but if they feel somehow dissed by UCLA being awarded the top seed over them that's all to the better. Unlike basketball, the seeding in baseball doesn't mean that much as long as you're a top 8.
Of course they wanted to win. But on the positive side it gave the pitchers an extra day of rest before the regional.
Sure they wanted to win. It makes that trophy we already won that much prettier. We won the last few tournaments and look what that got us. I like the direction this is pointed.
