Well all I am saying is it ain't just Brady that should get the credit for this high powered offense. I refuse to put Brady on such a high pedestal yet. A lot of collaboration goes into installing a new offense and a gameday gameplan. What I think we are seeing is yes an innovative young passing game coordinator, an experienced wiley veteran OC and a dynamic QB with a deeper more experienced team around him being coached up.
Bama schmama! How in the hell could E install the RPO or any other fancy offense when he was told after the 4th game in 2016; "Hey Steve this O I just became the HC and you are now my OC". You actually think E had time to install something brand new? Minus Bama who was a great team in 2016 E offense set some LSU records. Remember O I think was pressured at the end of 2016 to bring in a "dynamic" OC, walah Oh Canada. You are being unfair to E
You're the one saying he did " great", which is flat bullshit. But since you insist... 29-0 last season. Spin that, Mrs Ensminger
I'm essentially agreeing with you, maybe about 80-90%. Hell, we're putting up almost 58 points a game, I don't care if Koko the sign language gorilla is calling the plays.
Here's the way I see it. This year's offense is kind of like a "perfect storm." First, you have Joe Burrow coming back, in his case I don't think you can say he's the same player he was last year. He did a lot in the off season to make himself physically stronger and more accurate throwing the ball and is in his second year as the starter. Plus, he is the perfect fit for this offense. The talent at wide receiver we have may be second only to Alabama and that may be arguable by the end of the season. And last but certainly not the least, the arrival of Joe Brady and the acceptance of his ideas and philosophy by E and O who have totally incorporated it into our offense. I think we'll get a better feel for how good Brady's offense is next year when Joe won't be here to run it.
With you on that. None of us know who is calling some or most of the plays. All I know is if Brady is calling all, half or one quarter of the plays E still has to approve them right? So which ever both E and B are both right and in sinc. The pairing is getting us 60 points a game keep it going.
How many times will you have to make the same statements before you realize that you are simply standing on a street corner yelling at the sky. Like so many homeless people I see in Houston.
