I'm not saying no one but Brady deserves credit. The only thing I have definitively said is Brady gets credit for coaching up the WR's; he is, after all, the WR coach. And like I said, I don't know what goes on between Brady and E in the booth; I've never been up there. But let's face it, fair or unfair, a lot of people think this year is all Brady. I'm saying that when the coaching Silly Season begins, some people who think that will be in a position to offer him an OC job. Ready or not, deserving or not, I think that's what's going to happen.

I'll go back to my first post after it was announced that Brady had been hired. I think he has the unofficial title of "Offensive Coordinator in Waiting" and that he was hired with the understanding that Ensminger would soon either step down as OC and return to being a position coach, or retire outright. If that's the case (and @Kikicaca, I'm just "iff-ing" here), then it would make perfect sense that there is a lot of collaboration between the two of them on game day. I don't know what Brady's game day duties were with the Saints, but he certainly wasn't standing next to Peyton when he was calling the plays. He may have been on headset, but I doubt he was having any input. So, while he may be well-versed in the Saints offense, that's not the same as actually coordinating it on Sundays. If I'm right, then among his current duties, Ensminger is, for lack of a better word, tutoring Brady on how to function as an in-game play caller.

Ensminger is calling the plays in the booth from what I can see, is that correct?

So while he may be calling the plays, I'm 100% certain Brady's come up with all the design of all the plays in the passing game. There was absolutely no ingenuity in our passing game over the past several seasons within Ensminger.

Maybe it will take 10.1K time for you to get it.

Maybe so but this is only E's 2nd season as our OC. First season was as interim and he did great in my view.

You mean that Alabama game that was tied 0-0 in the middle of the 4th quarter?

Yeah he balled out that season.

    Jesus H. Christ.

We've scored exactly 0 points against Alabama in two games with him as OC. Two games in which we only gave up 39 total points collectively. Two winnable games with any semblance of an offense.

People all across the country were laughing at us. Just an unattainable level of ineptitude on offense but we managed to get there.

So you thought 0 points at home against Bama was "great"? Like 10 against UF? "Great"??
