I always find it amusing when people think their University is the only honorable one that doesn't engage in some measure of the same tactics employed by every major school in the world of competitive college athletics and recruitment. The thing that gives me solace is having as honorable an individual as one can at the top (a Les Miles or Dale Brown type) who also must remain competitive to stay employed and keep the school in the hunt. It would trouble me to have an Urban Meyer type running things. You know rules are being broken either way, but there's just no decency at all there. At least there was not during his time at Florida.
I think other than the money thing going on at universities, which we know happens everywhere, is the drug use. I think it would shock people if they knew how rampant drug use is by players. If anyone thinks Tyrann, Ware, and Simon were the only ones getting high they are fools, I would bet that 20 percent of all players at least use drugs.
Well, it's a former USC player too....in fact, ours got kicked out for sexual assault before he decided to become a thief, lol.
