Looking at the article, we have a very good chance of getting 10 out of 12 of these guys. It's a great thing to see an all-star list with "committed to LSU" copied and pasted all the way down the line.

Plus, it's interesting to see that Luther Davis isn't academically eligible right now.

One that seems to have fallen below everyone's radar is inside linebacker Earl Patin from Baton Rouge. He is ranked as the #6 ILB in the nation - a 4 Star athlete. But he was a late bloomer, and until recently was ranked at #22 by Rivals who had him listed at 3 stars. The Advocate had him listed on its Second Super Dozen list. LSU decided it would only recruit one linebacker this year and put all of its energy into recruiting Chris Walker who ended up committing to Tennessee. As a result, LSU will likely not recruit a single linebacker this year. Patin still has not committed, so maybe it is not too late for the Tigers, but LSU, who at one time topped his list of favorites, is no longer on his list. A real shame.

We never offered Patin, nor do I expect us to. Poor speed/lateral movement.
