Old article from 2012 in the height of the Tim Tebow days. Great read. Everything you ever expected out of the mothership. http://deadspin.com/5929361/how-esp...-skip-bayless-to-the-bottom-a-tim-tebow-story
Tebow is going to be one of the host of The SEC Network's version of Gameday. Also Brent Musburger is to be the lead play by play announcer for the network's prime time games
I'm a bit anti-ESPN these days for the trendy reasons that are often discussed. I do watch a lot of games on their networks. With the Tebow story though, they were just promoting it because so many people were interested in it. There were at least a few links (with many pages) over the past couple of years on this site (Tigerfan.com) with posters discussing Tebow. Most people were bashing Tebow, which I think added fuel to the fire (as the article mentions). It was kind of ironic because the common complaint was "why is ESPN talking about Tebow so much?" while every story about Tebow had many more comments than any other story. The answer to "why is ESPN talking about Tebow so much?" is because the average sports fan could not refrain from clicking on links about him, discussing him on message boards, etc.
