Me, too. Kids a monster - I mean he looks bigger than all of the other big azz DEs out there, and he comes to play. I have been very pleasantly surprised with him.
3 star fringe recruit, that we were hot on late in the process and had many people scratching their heads. I think he was a backup plan in the event another recruit fell through.
Yeah....but part of the reason he is projected that high is because he started playing and getting exposure a year earlier, having not redshirted. Part of it is that he is just that good, too.
I don't think that anyone is bashing Russell Shepard so much as arguing your placement of him is not accurate. Beckham has been the starter across from Randle for quite a few weeks now. Russell Shepard had a big role in assembling that class...
My guess is probably not for #99. Something tells me he loves the experience way too much to pass up his senior season. And I don't know how high he would be projected. Another great year and he can almost be guaranteed upper half of the first round.
