Against Tennessee. They got humiliated, same way USC got humiliated against Ohio State. Yeah, it's hard for you to see because your nose is so far up their butts. But right after the FL/TN game ended, the anchormen crew started talking about how bad Florida got showed up right there to everybody in the nation that was watching the game.

LMAO, yeah that's a humiliation. An in-conference foe controlling the game and win 23-13.

Every Florida fan I know was humiliated and I had good time rubbing it in. Grass is always greener on the other side to you.

Two best in the country tho?

Alabama..Yes...Florida? Nah...They're not the same without Harvin and Tebow will play rattled from here on out in my mind. But will they meet in the SEC title game? That's probably a safe assumption

Yep. One lesson that we all should have learned over the past couple of years is that there is certainly something to the concept of a team peaking too early in the season. It happened to us in 2007. We were just fortunate that it happened during the wackiest season in CFB history. But in general, getting off to a blazing start means that you don't know what your weaknesses are going into the heart of your schedule. That's the biggest thing that LSU has going for it right now. We know damn well what we need to work on. In 2007, that wasn't the case (mainly b/c we hadn't played against a spread offense yet).

Think about it; there is almost never a team that looks insanely dominant all year long. It took us a while to become dominant in 2003. However, Oklahoma looked like an NFL team up until the Big XII CG that year. Florida was dominant at NO point during the 2006 season, at least not until the BCSNCG. Hell, they weren't even dominant until after the LOST to Lol Mrs last year. We were even lucky that UGA had defeated themselves out of the SECCG in 2007 b/c they looked unbeatable when the season ended. USC usually looks great early on, but they always hit a bump or two. So, in fact, recent trends indicate that the title contenders at the END of the year usually have a not-so-overwhelming start.

Meh, I don't know. They haven't played anybody yet, so it's hard to tell. McCoy already has 5 pics, too. . .against those nobodies. So he might struggle against a Saban-coached D. Heck, they had a hard enough time vs Ohio St. last year.
