I won't be surprised to see both of those teams lose 3+

I won't be surprised if they are both undefeated when they meet in Atlanta.

Now that would surprise me. When is the last time that ever happened?

Well I assume you were joking.

These teams are clearly the cream of the crop. And the dropoff is tremendous after that.

The SEC will beat each other up. But with rivalries in other conferences, the same thing happens.

Yeah, I doubt both of them will both lose 3+ this season at the same time. But, Saban lost 3+ every year at LSU except one (he lost 3, 1, 5, 3, 4). And Florida just got unexpectedly humiliated by a team that they should have blown out 70-0.

I don't really know why I'm responding to this, but here goes:

    1) Florida and Alabama played for the SEC championship last year

    2) Alabama was undefeated and 12-0 heading into the championship game last year and has improved defensively

    3) Florida returns all 11 defensive starters back from a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, 13-1 TEAM

    4) Florida beat UK 41-7 after scoring 31 in the 1st quarter... yeah.. they got humiliated.

Like I said... not sure why I'm responding to you.

You're buying too much into them. Yeah they were pretty good last season (esp Florida). Yay.
