I agree. We've played patsies (yes, Washington was a patsy) and really haven't looked impressive in doing so. Today, we've shown that we are not as good as we thought. We can get better. Who's coaching Mettenberger? Do we need to re-think the OC/O-Line coach in the same role?
We had things going our way and the two turnovers changed the momentum. We punch it in on the first one and it's a completely different game. We let them believe. We had the ball over 10 minutes to their 4 in the first quarter. The game just got turned on it's head and got ugly. Momentum can be hard to recapture.

I like Mett but he is not the savior we thought. I didn't like the roll outs where he threw into tight coverage. I think he was lucky something bad like an interception didn't happen. As for the team, it's hard for me to believe that this is the 2nd ranked team in the nation. Florida State looks better. Georgia looks better. Like the justice who couldn't define obscenity but he knew it when he saw it, I'm saying this team has a ways to go to deserve a number 2 ranking.
