The 12th Amendment Could Keep Trump in the White House

I always search for source material. Thus, if any outlet say "X", I see "according to who". Then I search for according to who, and get all the sides of the story. If at all possible, I like going to the official source, like a video or document that is being sourced.

Thats the Jefferson Option. He was Veep at that time and called his own number.

Actually Burr was trying to steal the presidency. He was listed as Jefferson’s VP but confusion in the way electoral votes were conducted led to a tie. Burr attempted to take the presidency but was defeated...then turned traitor. This is why the 12th amendment was adopted.

Pence, does indeed have the authority and power to literally determine who is President. If he decides to leave the EC votes of the disputed states unopened under the reasoning that they are not certifiable EC Votes, but rather are contested "non-ec votes" arising from fraudulent activity, then that is the final word. There can be no debate, prior to, or following his counting the votes. It is the VPs authority alone. Not even the SCOTUS can weigh in on the subject. The MSM can explode, pitch a fit, do whatever they want, but the decision is final.

 

Actually, the issue was irregularities in the GA EC certification. Everyone, the media, congress, etc said that GA's votes should be left unopened. Post analysis confirms there was some craziness going on with the GA certification. BUT ... Jefferson held the authority, and opened them anyway, thus giving him the Presidency, and sending the remainder to the House to determine who would be VP. The 12th put an end to the Winner President and Runner up Vice President, making it such that the EC no longer voted on VP, but that the POTUS and VP pair would be approved a one unit.

 

I don't unquestionably believe any mass media source. l listen and then check it out. Over the last ten years or so the likes of CNN, NBC, CbS, ABC, MSNBC, Washington Post, NY Times and others are largely shills for and propaganda arms of the Democrat party. What was considered centrist 12 years ago is now considered right wing. If you can't see that, get your head out of the sand. They are wrong more than they are right.
I do watch Fox a little more than others, especially when Dana Perino is on, but I research everything.
BTW- I have often thought Trump was full of shit, but he turned out to be right virtually every time.

 

Actually ... the MSM plays a little game. A Democrat makes a claim, and the MSM reports it as if it is true. Since it wasn't actually the MSM that said it, all they are doing is "reporting". It's just like this fraud thing. County Commission says the vote is solid ... MSM runs with it. Democrats and anti-trumpers say the fraud is nonsense ... the MSM runs with it.

OTOH ... a group of AZ citizens go door to door and verify some 30%+ of the votes are manufactured, with as many as 1500 people registered to the same empty lot ..... and the MSM???? .... crickets. I've said it all along ... they should all be thrown in jail. The 1st Amendment was not meant to protect liars.
