The difference in this game was we gained a lot more from it. If it holds Mett has become a passing threat.
We did what I was saying we needed to do...which was execute. Then, our defense decided to take it to the locker room one series too early.
Well I was wrong about this game. I didn't expect our offense to have the defenses back. Not only did we punch the gumps in their mouths we beat their asses most of the night. Tonight the best team really did lose and I would hope regained much national respect for the way they played tonight.
There were a few of us who expected Zach to come out of his shell in this game and he did, what's so frustrating is watching this kid grow up into a quarterback that can win us games, and then not given the opportunity to win us a game on our 2nd to last possession. You have to show faith in your guy right there and let him finish Bama off with a first down pass on 3rd down.
Don't blame them. They weren't put in positions to succeed. Chief changed the scheme on the last series, which Bama was waiting for, and they took advantage.
I'm done with college football this season, only watching LSU games from here on out, don't give a shit what anyone else does this year.
Pretty good game! A lot like 07. Players were great! Coaches blew it. Clm with his crazy-stupid gambles, and the infamous chavis prevent defenses from the UT days (except for the screen situation which Bama loves!). Much better than I expected, I'm almost happy.
