Thanks to you: and you: for putting together an outstanding defensive game plan against Alabama. It was a defensive effort that all of us can be proud of. Hopefully it is a sign of the defense turning the corner.
Defense played great, but it's a little early to be passing out coach of the year awards. Now let's see if they can put a string of two together.
Well, I don't think Bama's offense is nearly as dynamic as either FL or UGA; so stopping an offense led by JPW doesn't seem like much to boast about. It seems Bama's offense is closer to Auburn's than Florida's. Let's see how we play for the rest of the season.
Maybe they heard Les' radio show last week. A caller asked if Les was going to replace his defensive coordinators for giving up so many points. Les said that he expected the DC's to return next year . . . unless they don't get the problem fixed this year. That was a plain as he could make it.
The defense played much better but we still couldnt get consistent pressure on sarah jessica parker wilson, especially in the second half. Our D-line is not quite up to what we've experienced in the past. Al Woods and Chad Jones, both hailed as 5 star all world type players, have got to develop a little more. Right now they are not playing to the level expected. I thought Jai played a very good game, especially in the first half. Peterson also played well and he is definately playing up to what was expected.
I have been very critical of these two and the Defensive plan as a whole, but i will give a ton of credit to the Defense last night. They played a great game and gave us a very good chance to win the game against the #1 team in the nation. Unfortunately our QB let them down.
he thanked them for calling ONE great game (not a season) and HOPES it continues (not a prediction) No reason to even remotely think he was being sarcastic. why you felt the need to come in and turn ito a negative is beyond me.
Never tried to turn it negative but if you think it's a positive to call one good game all season there is no help for you. Why would you thank a coach for only one good game and so many bad ones? A "good game" may be appropriate, but a thank you? Aren't they getting paid to call good games? Call more good ones than bad ones then start with the thank you's. Right now all you can say is you now have a chance to save your job.
