Thank you Skip! You were responsible in some way, shape, or form a # of conference and national titles during your years served. You installed your ideas that made baseball what it was into the entire athletic program. And lastly, you have caused more arguments for married couples than ever before because of the increases in the $$$ for football tickets, parking, etc. But, it was all worth it, because we have two :crystal: in five years. Way to GEAUX!!!:thumb:
Hand wrote a letter to the Skipper and put it in his cubbie in the AD building today. Also gave Joe a list of the things the fans here said we wanted to fix LSU.
We'll miss you Skip. I'll never forget how kind and generous he was to invite my Dad to sit up in his box with him for one of the LSU football games because he had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He's more than just a good AD, he's a good, all-around Tiger!
Coaching our BB teams to 5 CWS Championships would be enough to put anyone in the LSU/LSU Fans Hall of Fame for eternity. Not to mention his work as AD. WOW! What a great job Skip. Thanks for everything you have done for LSU and all you mean to the LSU family. ldskule:
It's been a great 25 years. Thanks for all you've done, Skip. Editted: Said 22 years in my original post, paper said 25 this morning. A whole quarter of a century. Wishes it could have been more.
Glad to see so many here appreciate Skip. When you're AD you're gonna make some people unhappy, that's just the way it is. Skip raised ticket and parking prices, an unpopular thing, but it had to be done, and he was probably the only one with the capitol with the fans to pull it off.
No doubt, thanks to Coach Bertman!!! His record leading his sports team will not be matched any time soon. He is a fine judge of coaches, and made many great selections for . We are indebted for the great leadership he provided for our programs. G E A U X S K I P !!! PS: Kinda reminds me of my general feeling about Cholly Mac.
Over a decade of great baseball, and then as the Head of it all, Skip has put LSU back on the map in many ways. His golden touch has left a hand print for all of time in LSU history. Congrats and thank you for all the great years. GOOD LUCK IN ALL YOU DO, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A GREAT TIGER!!!!!!!!!
Ok....yeah Skip. You did a good job. o: In fact, you did a "damned good job." thanks a bunch.... :geaux::crystal::helmet::tigereye::bncry::hihi:
