I know it's early and that's usually the cup cake part of the schedule, but I hope this is a trend that continues. Based on our tradition, the last few recruiting classes, and the team we have returning, it's hard to understand why we weren't ranked higher in preseason rankings. Were we not expected to be a strong team this year?
Also, for the last couple of years it seemed we couldn't even buy a mid week win. This is THE year !!
Even though mid-week games aren't a priority, I hate losing to ULL and Tulane. Their fans are so annoying.

Yeah, that's tough to replace in one year. Still, with top recruiting classes and a solid core of returning players, we should be right there in the thick of things. Maybe it's better to be in an underdog role for now.
