It's good because you'll be around longer into the future to provide all of this recruiting info. :thumb:
Huh. I didn't even know that Redemptorist was a Catholic school. I thought it was just Catholic High and Bishop Sullivan/now St. Michael that were the Catholic high schools in Baton Rouge for males to go to. That is quite impressive that Redemptorist (founded 1947) has done so well at the 3A level (including those three 3A football championships in '02, '03, and '05). When did they win those hoops championships? I was just thinking of academics. Catholic High, a 5A school founded in 1894 (115 years ago), is a recent 4-time winner of the US Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award ('89, '93, '98, '03). Of course, Catholic also has a great sports program. Alums include: Major Applewhite ('97), Travis Minor ('97), Warrick Dunn ('93)... and most recently Austin Nola ('08) of the 2009 National Championship Tiger Baseball team.
Can't thank Bhelm enough for all the work he puts into this recruiting section and bringing us all the latest LSU recruiting scoop. HUGE thanks Bhelm!!!!
RHS is coed, has always been. The 60's and the 70's under 3 different coaches. You may have heard of Howard Carter? He was a 3 time state champ @ RHS, went on the the Final Four in '81 with  Catholic High is the upper crust school of South BR, RHS is the blue-collar NBR school. CHS probably has better academics, more alumni $$$, and more than likely better looking students. But RHS has ALWAYS had better sports programs, because we're SCRAPPERS. :thumb: They...all...left..the...state. :hihi: At least you saved the best for last. :thumb:
