I've been a Tiger and Saints fan forever and enjoyed many great games but the past 20 years have been absolutely wonderful.

I remember watching Skip Bertman in his first year, Shaq, Chris Jackson, the Final Four in '81 & '86, the Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, the Saints first playoff game, the Saints first playoff win, etc. but when I look back at the past 20 years it has been quite a ride.

Bewteen the Saints and Tigers, we've had nine opportunities in championship games. Forget the law of averages because we're a perfect 9-0 in these games.

1991 CWS vs. Wichita State Shockers
1993 CWS vs. Wichita State Shockers
    1996 CWS vs. Miami Hurricanes
1997 CWS vs. Alabama Crimson Tide
    2000 CWS vs. Stanford Cardinal
    2003 BCS vs. Oklahoma Sooners
2007 BCS vs. Ohio State Buckeyes
    2009 CWS vs. Texas Longhorns
    2010 SB44 vs. Indianapolis Colts

I would hate to rank these wins as they all have special meaning. The Super Bowl win was great for the region, the "Shot Heard Round the World" by Warren Morris was amazing, watching Brad Cresse struggle then come through with the game winning RBI, listening to Alabama get cocky only to be put in their place, knocking QB Jason White silly are all hard to rank.

The Tigers and Saints are a combined 25-3 this season. We have one...and maybe two opportunities to add to this list. I'm just thankful to be alive during such a great run. I don't think there are many fans anywhere in the country who have enjoyed so much success the past two decades.

Thanks to the players, coaches, fans, etc. who have made the past 20 years so much fun. Here's to the next 20! :thumb:
