Morris Claiborne, maybe Brockers....Ron Brooks, Brandon Taylor, Stephon Francois, Ryan Baker, Deangelo Peterson, Joey Crappell, James Stampley, Derrick Bryant, T-Bob, Will Blackwell, and Mitch Joseph, Jarrett Lee, and even Karnell Hatcher. Thank you for the memories. You are all LSU Tigers and should be proud for a fine season, and fine careers.
No we should thank JJ as well. He gave all he had. Was he good enough? No but to single him out is not right and you should be ashamed of yourselves for doing it.
Probably a very fair statement and cooler heads would agree. But until recently when he acted like his "mistake" he was a victim. He has never once fessed up to the fact that he made a poor decision(s). He may have been wronged but he made poor decisions again and again first on the field then it appeared off. Also his post and pre game comments also made him look very poor. I can forgive JJ for just being a flat out horrible QB. Some people can play that position some cannot. RGIII a stud at that position. Humble, talented and a student of the game. Jefferson has really lost that "Well he is a terrible QB but a good LSU tiger" support long ago. Marcus Randle had that. Terrible QB but a good Tiger and what appeared to be a good kid and representative of LSU. His comments just yesterday proved that. Humility and being humble is something that transcends being bad at something. Jefferson had none of the above recently. He made it sound as if HE was being wronged and that the starting QB role was his by default. Just the way he yelled at Ware or behaved on the sidelines. Did you see him firing up his team. Nope saw Lee doing that. Not "the leader" I never want to rip a kid and have never in all my years supporting the Tigers. But at some point you almost have to say "Good riddance". He is not a kid anymore Being an LSU Tiger Football player let alone QB is a privileged not a right. I do agree probably not fair to single him out. He is a senior but I feel he let his team down. Not the fans. Screw us, we are bunch of ninnies. Respect is something earned.... And not by throwing a pass.
+1 I too support the omission of JJ. He shyt the bed when we needed him the most. Miles carries a lot of the blame for that as well.
Addition by subtraction. I hope to never hear his name anymore. He cost us probably 2 national championships. Last years team was very good but he held us back yet again.
Thank you Jarrett Lee for putting up with Les for 4 years. If that were me on the sideline, I honestly couldn't have handled it as gracefully as you did. The most frustrating thing is to see your team losing knowing that you could have made a difference had you been given the opportunity. That opportunity never came...
