Was that a personal foul committed after Yeldon fumbled in your red zone? I just remember LSU settling for the field goal was key.

We had so many great sec games over the miles years, I think my
my favorites in no particular order
    Florida 5 4th down conversions
S Carolina fake fg flip to kicker (the look on the old ball coach was classic)
Auburn last sec td to byrd in the end zone
    Bama 9-6

Wasn't me. :) We stayed in New Orleans for a few days and we were a little late getting to the stadium but finally made the kickoff. I thought we were in deep hockey, to be honest. AJ hadn't hit the broad side of anything all second half. With about 2 minutes AJ finally just let it rip and Norwood caught some great sideline passes. But we knew we were outplayed in the game and just managed to keep it close.

If you read the whole note, it appears KH was fed a load by someone and bit on it hook line and sinker. UM said it wouldn't talk to Les till after the game and even if they were talking to his agent it wouldn't have gone that far.
As one comment noted Herbstreit is a Buckeye and isn't to be trusted on this subject.

I know it wasn't you @TUSKtimes, you have way more class than this guy. Not sure how he even made it into the stadium with the attitude he had. Even Bama fans were telling him to shut up. He was not a fan, just wanted to say personal things about Miles and His family every time Bama did something good. It has no place in a great college football game, I hate when our fans do it too.

That's a very good point because so many freak things transpired even before the screen. The defense played great all night before Chavis pulled out the rug. That was also the night things suddenly clicked for Mett. He had been very ordinary up until then, and I really think he caught Bama off guard. Les made a couple of bad gambles - I'm sure you remember those - but there was also an onside kick that caught fooled Bama completely, but a bad hop caused it to hit one of our players before it went 10 yards. I think we had just tied the game, and that could have been a huge momentum builder.

That's the thing. People often put on a T-shirt and couldn't care less about what they're watching. I have learned to just judge the person, not the crowd. Frankly, when you're traveling you tend to be around the best of the best of your own fans.
