Miles has been pissing on us for years with that shitty offense and his god damn stubbornness. He deserves whatever he gets. If I saw him on the street I'd shake his hand, wish him luck, and kick him in the nuts.
While I understand he basically ran himself out of Baton Rouge due to stubbornness and unwillingness to evolve. He was a great ambassador of LSU and Louisiana. To give an example to the kind of Man he was/is, he left after telling his players he's forever a Tiger, and said: "Ya'll go run the table and make me proud. I'm pulling for you every Saturday night. #LSU"
I quoted you for a reason. I won't pretend to be happy yet. Im not "looking back with fondness". I'm still pissed as hell. Miles fucked us this season as his last parting gift.
Was hoping someone would start such a thread. I don't think the man deserves such hate. I never forgot the "Damn Strong" speech and how he passed up a job offer from his alma mater. Good luck to you sir, and thank you.
I, for one, had a hard time letting Saban go, and was a PITA accepting him (Coach Miles). Yeah, I've been around LSU for many years (born in 1973 and a Mom who is alumni....yeah I'm a wannabe LoL), but one who has followed the Tigers all these years. These last few years, Ive been trying to be optimistic because I've seen Les is a great man, BUT his coaching philosophy has passed the game by. Thanks for being a Tiger and good luck in your future.
A very good man who I was honored to have as our coach. He in turn was lucky to be chosen to lead this great legendary football team. He did good work for 8 years and we paid him very well for that, a days work a days pay. Gave me some great memories. Will miss you but not as head coach but as a good and decent man whom modern day football passed by. Good luck Les
You want to pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows now go ahead. But I'd have had a lot more respect for Miles had he walked away at the end of last season instead of screwing us out of one more year with his dumbass offense.
