They lost... end of story.. out coached... end of story. They were outcoached the other games as well this year... physically gifted players made up for poor or no coaching and bad schemes. VERY LUCKY to be 5-1.

If I don't agree with you I am not a Tiger fan. That ain't Tiger football... I don't put my head in the sand and play make pretend... they look like crap.

What he did was limit the possession of the game... Florida scored on 3 of 8 possessions.... if you don't count the last one running out the clock 3 of 7... missed easy fg...

It's a prevent defense that isn't going to win you championship... why would anyone play wussy ball with the talent we have on the field?

Our D was very physical tonight. D played well. This game is all on the offense and more importantly Jefferson.

:geaux: All boils down to the fact that LSU got beat by the better team tonight. Period. Defense held the defending National Champions and perhaps the best overall college player in many years to 13 points. The FEWEST POINTS EVER SCORED BY AN URBAN MYER COACHED TEAM IN A VICTORY". Not a bad defensive effort at all. They played their hearts out and left it all on the field at Tiger Stadium tonight. The "D" and Chavis deserve credit and I will give it to them.

The offense definitely has room for improvement. JJ and the OL have to get better, no doubt. I was ready to see Lee tonight for the last couple of series just to see if he could give to "O" a spark. Also wanted to see Shep in the game. The OL is missing Helms and Big Herm more than a lot of people realize. Plus Barksdale is still relatively young. Hebert and Dwarocyzk will get better as time goes on, but tonight was painful watching the offense.

The problem with you, SIU, is that you NEVER have anything positive to say. NEVER. I can honestly say I've never seen you post something positive. I think you led a charge to TF from Tigerdroppings or something because there are quite a few others like you on here, but you and a couple of others stand out. I don't put my head in the sand and certainly didn't enjoy the Tigers losing tonight. However, I'm proud they played hard tonight and never quit. I'm not a fair weather fan and will continue to support the team. They're gonna get better this year and win more games while you'll just continue to be the idiot you are. Nuff said. :LSU231:

Plain and simple ppl we are the worst coached team in the SEC. After winning the NC the recruiting as never fallen off, so there's no excuse for rebuilding. U coach to your talent and our most explosive player RS doesn't touch the ball let alone the field. I hope this really does not hurt recruiting. Every one else plays there best players regardless. Penalties really hurt the D tonight.

What are you talking about, we held the #1 team in the nation to one TD, what do you have to back this up?

Best of the year, my thoughts exactly.
WE lost so what, did people think we would win every game ?
    Really
This team competed and our defense played well. Sure offensive play calling and decisions are suspect, but this is a good team and my LSU flag is still hanging proudly on the front of my house here in Texas, and I am surrounded by rival fans (Including UF)
Nothing to be ashamed of tonight. LSU and our fans represented proudly.
Pick ourselves up fix somethings on O and hammer Auburn.

I agree completely... if we could score just 17 points a game, we could win out with a defensive effort like tonight.

I couldn't stay up for the whole game (it is 6:00 a.m. here), but we just lost to the no. 1 team in the country by 10 points and you post this crap. Last week people like you were saying we didn't even belong on the field with teams in the top 5. You really should find some other team's board to piss and moan on. Just go away.

The only question I have is how many names can you posts under on this board - T.C., Tigerclawswipe [or asswipe or somethng like that] and now LSU-SIU;992051). And what the hell is someone with any connection to Southern Illinois doing on this board??

I want to thank Coach Chavis and our D for playing their hearts out tonight.
Its nice to know they can be on the field that long and still do the job that they did and they can probably keep us in any game!
