For returning LSU back to it's glory days of great defense Held the Florida offense to 200 yards short of their average and over 30 points short of their scoring average. Even with Florida controlling the ball for 38 of the 60 minutes. And it took an offensive pass interference to score a TD on your defense. Great gameplan. We have that part of the equation solved for making us national champs once again.
That defense scheme sucks.... It's basically a prevent defense, not going to win you a SEC championship or a national championship.
I would wait for SabanFan to enter, but he won't be here for another couple of days. So I wills say it for him. You my friend, are a goddamn idiot.
you have lost your mind. UF ran 3 plays.. and that kept the Tiger defense on the field the whole game. That was the game plan of UF not Chavis. Chavis is a bafoon and so is Miles.
The Defense played enough to win this game. Our D is getting better every week so thats always a plus. This D next season will give many teams fits.
When Florida puts up 50 points against every other team on the rest of their schedule, then you'll see how great an effort this was tonight.
I agree LSU Defense played lights out, had we said UF would score ONE TD against us (And on a missed PI call at that) we would have been very happy. I think the D played awesome tonight. I am not displeased at all. PS - How do I add people to the ignore list I see about 3 or 4 I would like to add ?
guess you forgot UF's O is based around the run. Over 300 yrds a game and over 200 yrds passing a game LSU held them on both all while LSU's O going 3 and out most of the game. The D staying on the field plays a big part. I hope a Bama fan chits on your door step.
I dont like how far off the corners sometimes play. Also the tackling sucked sometimes, plus the penalties. All that said Chavis has done a great job. The LSU D did an excellent overall job. Its the O thats holding us back. Considering how horrible the O played, not keeping the ball for long drives the D was wonderful.
D played well enough to win the game with a bit of help form the offense. Hopefully they'll get the offense hitting on all cylinders against Auburn.
